In accordance with recommendations from the CDC and the City of San Francisco, SunCode 2020 has been postponed due to concerns related to COVID-19.  The intended reschedule date will be in late May or Early June, situation depending.

 

All prior ticket holders have a spot reserved for the rescheduled date. Given the high level of interest in this year’s event, we recommend reserving your spot now!

FAQ

Do I need to be able to code?

Teams will be made up of software developers as well as as well as non coding, energy and mobility, experts and enthusiasts. We recommend each team have at least two to three software developers.


Will there be food provided?

Yes - all meals are included (dinner on Friday and breakfast, lunch, and dinner on Saturday). Vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options will be available.



Do I have to be at the event to participate?

Yes - mandatory sessions are from 7pm-9pm on Friday and 8am-9pm on Saturday.

 




What are the challenge parameters?

The challenges will focus on clean energy and mobility solutions. Open data will be provided and full challenges will be released in early April.

Do I need to have a team before coming?

No! We will have a structured team formation period on site. Teams may range in size from 4 to 6 people.

Who owns the software after the event?

All IP remains with the team - what you create is yours.
